Straight answers

What we do

Install, repair, remove, and everything that swings.

Whether it's a new privacy line around the backyard, a few sections the snow took down, or an old fence that needs to go, we handle it from the first walk-through to the final clean-up.

Fence installation

New fence lines from layout to the last post cap. We walk the property with you, call in utility locates, and set posts for North Idaho frost and snow load.

Fence repair

Leaning posts, broken boards, sagging sections, and winter damage. We fix what's failing so you don't have to replace what isn't.

Fence removal

Old fence out and hauled away, with clean lines left behind and ready for a new install, ours or anyone's.

Gates

Walk gates, double drive gates, and wide gates for trailers and equipment, built square and hung to swing true.

Fence types

Pick your material. We'll build it to last.

About MC Fencing

Small crew. Straight lines. No runaround.

MC Fencing is a North Idaho fence company owned and run by Mason Cramer. We keep it small on purpose. You deal with the person doing the work, not a call center or a sales rep.

Most of our jobs are on the kind of properties people move here for: wooded lots, sloped yards, shops, and acreage. That means working around roots, rock, frozen ground, and heavy snow, and building lines that stay straight anyway.

Licensed, insured, and local. When we're done, the only thing we leave behind is the fence.

FAQ

Good questions.

Don't see yours? Call or text and you'll get a straight answer.

(208) 755-7939
Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. We'll come out, walk the fence line with you, and send a written quote.

How long does an install take?

It depends on length, material, and ground conditions. We'll give you a realistic timeline with your quote and keep you posted if weather moves things around.

Do I need a permit or HOA approval?

Rules vary by city, county, and HOA, especially for height and setbacks. Check with your HOA early. We can provide the layout, height, and material details they usually ask for.

Can you build on slopes or wooded lots?

Yes. That's most of North Idaho. We step or follow the grade depending on the material, and route lines around trees instead of through them.

Will you remove my old fence?

Yes. Removal and haul-away can be quoted on its own or bundled with a new install.

Do you work in the winter?

Frozen ground slows down post setting, but repairs and many installs can still happen. Ask us and we'll be straight with you about timing.
